Polaris World Golf Resorts - Spain
Polaris World are developing a family of exclusive luxury
golf resorts just 15 minutes from the white beaches and the calm turquoise
waters of the Mar Menor in the region of Murcia on the Costa Calida.
Each luxury Polaris World resort is built around a Championship
golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Each resort will feature a
mixture of apartments, townhomes, villas plus a host of facilities
such as town centres with exclusive restaurants, shops, banks, fitness
centres, golf and tennis academies and much more. Polaris World currently
have the following resorts in various stages of construction:
The first Polaris World development was the Mar Menor
Golf Resort which is situated in Torre Pacheco, just 5 minutes from
the coast, this resort is now complete and all off-plan properties
have been sold, although there are resales available. An expansion
of the Mar Menor Resort, Mar
Menor II has now been released for sale, there are currently 1,
2 and 3 bed apartments, plus 2 and 3 bed villas.
The El Valle Golf Resort is situated just 10 minutes from Murcia.
The Polaris World La Torre Golf Resort is the largest of the current resorts with over 2600
properties available and again is situated in Torre Pacheco. The Polaris World Hacienda Riquelme
Golf Resort is currently being built just outside the town of
Sucina, 15 minutes drive from Murcia. The La Loma Resort is the smallest of the current developments and
will feature under 500 properties built around a huge sporting complex
containing 15 tennis courts, 2 multi sport tracks, a football pitch,
swimming pool, a sports stadium with seats for 3,500 and a 9 hole
golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.
Terrazas
de la Torre is a new resort by Polaris World located between La
Torre Golf Resort and Mar Menor Golf Resort. Jardines
de la Torre is situated within close proximity to all Polaris
World resorts and 15 minutes from the local Mar Menor beaches and
San Javier (Murcia) airport. With both La Torre Golf Resort and Terrazas
de la Torre close by, the residents of Jardines de la Torre can enjoy
a world of services and facilities.
Polaris World Sports Club
The benefits that come from being a member of the Polaris World Club
are definite privileges. By simply owning a property on a Polaris
World resort you automatically become a member of the Club. Polaris
World Membership is the key to all the leisure and sport facilities
of our resorts.
Heavy investments in infrastructure surrounding Polaris World Resorts
There exists today a good road network in the region, connecting
it through major motorways with the rest of Spain. Railways can take
you from Cartagena and Murcia to Madrid, Alicante, Valencia and Barcelona
among other destinations, the airport in San Javier is just 10-20
minutes away from the Polaris resorts and the airport in Alicante
40-50 minutes away.
There will be a new international airport built in Corvera,
just 10-20 minutes away from the Polaris resorts. The new airport
is planned to be opened beginning of 2007, there is also a new fast
train (AVE) going from Murcia to Madrid. There are many motorways
being built and projected in the area. By the year 2007 there will
already be a number of new motorways opened, among others one motorway
passing 5km from Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort.
Polaris World are building 15 km of motorway to improve the access
to future projects.
